We make one thing,
and we make it properly.
Laura's Furniture is a furniture store, not a marketplace account. We designed the Cloud Couch, we manufacture it, we hold it in a US warehouse, and we answer the emails when something goes wrong with it. That sequence matters more than it sounds like it should.
The problem I was
actually trying to solve.
Customers came into my store with the same two complaints, over and over. The sectionals they'd fallen in love with cost as much as a used car and took three months to arrive. And the ones they could afford were impossible to keep clean — a single glass of red wine and the whole thing was ruined for good.
So in 2023 I drew up something that answered both. One connected hardwood frame so it would actually last. Double-density foam so it wouldn't pancake in six months. And — the part everyone ended up filming — every single cover unzips and goes in a washing machine.
Then it left. Someone posted theirs, then a few thousand people did, and it turned into something I genuinely did not plan for.
Four years, roughly.
The first drawing
Sketched to fix two complaints I heard every week: too expensive, impossible to clean. The washable covers weren't a marketing feature — they were the entire reason the couch exists.
Sold out of the store
No ads, no internet. Just people sitting on it in person and deciding. That's still the version of the sale I like best.

A customer filmed hers. Then everyone did. We went from a furniture store to a warehouse operation in a matter of months, and spent most of that time learning how to ship 40,000 couches without dropping the quality.
Our photos, someone else's factory
Sellers started listing our images and shipping foam blocks in a bag. We can't stop them. What we can do is be findable, be accountable, and keep every spare part in stock — which is the one thing a copy can never offer you.
Three rules we don't bend.
Stock the parts forever
Every cover, cushion, leg and connector is sold individually and kept in the US. We still stock parts for the first version we ever shipped. One accident should never mean a new couch.
Hold the risk ourselves
Thirty days in your living room, free returns both ways, and we arrange the collection. You shouldn't have to gamble to find out whether something is comfortable.
Answer as people
A small US team on email, usually back within two hours. Nobody here is going to send you a ticket number and disappear.
A warehouse you can
actually phone.
Everything ships from our own US warehouse, which is why an order placed before 3pm ET goes out the same day and lands in two to three days rather than six weeks.
Every couch is inspected and packed by our team before it leaves. Frames get counted, hardware bags get weighed. It isn't glamorous, but it's the difference between a delivery that works and one that's missing a bolt.
Buy it from the person
who made it.
Free 2–3 day shipping, a 30-day home trial, and a team that answers.
